Stella is an Akbash/Anatolian shepherd mix who was rescued with her three brothers. Her new family took her into their zoo and she fit right in! She loves belly rubs and chasing cats.

I was found as a stray and was a really sweet girl.  My boy found me at an adoption event.  Now, I am no longer homeless.

Boomer was so shut down and one scared pup at the city when he was pulled.  Now, he has come out of his shell and likes his girl dogs at home.  He calls them his harem.

Buddy was found as a stray and ended up staying with his foster forever.  His mom just couldn't part with his wonderful ways.  He helps with the other fosters that come into his home.  He loves to play fetch and is one sweet adorable boy.

Clarissa was pulled with her seven babies from the city.  She was one amazing girl and momma.  When she got adopted, it was one happy and sad day for her foster mom.  

Daphne was one that was listed on a facebook page where the owner had a litter of puppies they considered ugly.  They were going to dump them.  We had a volunteer travel out of town to save her.  She was eating bread crumbs that fell on the floor as food.  She only weighed a pound when we got her.  Now, she has a forever home that she will never be hungry again.

Elizabeth was born at the city and was pulled at two days old.  She joins Bisquits (now Boss) who is an ELR alumni.

Emerald was one of ELR's first rescues.  She is one of Demi's kittens. She is such a sweetie and loves her daddy. 

Grant was dumped in a swampy area and even ran after the SUV that threw him out as trash.  It took volunteers an hour just to get him.  He contracted Parvo and had to go through treatment.  His mom and dad came for him and think he is just about as perfect as he can be.  We get to see him when his parents stop by to see us at events.  I think he hit the jackpot.

Gunnar was found at Berend's Landing where the MSU Cycling Team found him.  He had an eye infection and was skinny.  He was in foster care for quite awhile until his forever family came for him at a Petco event.  I think it was love a first sight.  He now goes riding in the car with his dad and is so loved and adored.

Heidi was pulled from the city and it didn't take long for her forever family to come find her.  She is doing great in her new home and they love her.

Hercules was found under a back porch and the home owner was scared to death of cats.  We couldn't locate their mom so they had to be bottle fed.  Hercules was so cute playing and a wonderful foster boy.  His new family met him and couldn't leave him.  He is one loved boy.

Isabella came from a situation where she had little socialization and kenneled most of the time.  She was so loving once she felt secure with people.  Her foster worked really hard on some issues and it paid off for Isabella.  Last time I talked to her mom, she said that Isabella sleeps with them and is her second shadow.  They love her and are so happy she is a part of their family.

Jasmine was pulled from the city and contracted Parvo.  She fought the fight and won.  Her foster spent many hours at the hospital holding her and telling her how much she loved her.  Well, the foster couldn't have her go anywhere else but to make it a permanent forever home.

Josiah was one of Clarissa's kittens and one of his foster mom's favorites.  Last time we saw his dad at Petco, we got to see updated pictures.  He is getting so big and so spoiled.

Lucy was pulled from the city and was such a good girl.  She was a little shy at first around new people, but her mom and dad have pulled her out of it.

Makiah was pulled from the city.  Malorie was his mom.  

Mr. Leo was born in foster care after his mom, Callie, was pulled pregnant from the city.  Love it when family adopt.  He was getting so big when I saw him when he was getting neutered.

Oliver was found as a stray and Cinnamon is his mom.  Last update we got, was that he was doing so good and receives lot of attention and love.

Annie was found as a stray in the flood waters by Lucy Park.  She was such a sweet girl and her forever family thinks the world of her.  They said she fits in perfectly.

Ringo was pulled from the city.  He went through PAWS for Greatness.  He was one smart dog and his new sister picked him out.  She is a heeler too.
