Grant was dumped in a swampy area and even ran after the SUV that threw him out as trash. It took volunteers an hour just to get him. He contracted Parvo and had to go through treatment. His mom and dad came for him and think he is just about as perfect as he can be. We get to see him when his parents stop by to see us at events. I think he hit the jackpot.
Gunnar was found at Berend's Landing where the MSU Cycling Team found him. He had an eye infection and was skinny. He was in foster care for quite awhile until his forever family came for him at a Petco event. I think it was love a first sight. He now goes riding in the car with his dad and is so loved and adored.
Hercules was found under a back porch and the home owner was scared to death of cats. We couldn't locate their mom so they had to be bottle fed. Hercules was so cute playing and a wonderful foster boy. His new family met him and couldn't leave him. He is one loved boy.
Isabella came from a situation where she had little socialization and kenneled most of the time. She was so loving once she felt secure with people. Her foster worked really hard on some issues and it paid off for Isabella. Last time I talked to her mom, she said that Isabella sleeps with them and is her second shadow. They love her and are so happy she is a part of their family.
Jasmine was pulled from the city and contracted Parvo. She fought the fight and won. Her foster spent many hours at the hospital holding her and telling her how much she loved her. Well, the foster couldn't have her go anywhere else but to make it a permanent forever home.
